Every George Andelli front begins as layered cellulose acetate — cut, tumbled and hand-polished in the craft tradition descending from the Cadore framing region of northeast Italy. The material has depth you can look into, and it warms to your skin within a minute.
From there the work is restraint: five-barrel hinges in aged gold, a wordmark small enough to miss, and nothing else.
