Our products
How do I choose the right size?
Every sized piece has a size guide on its product page — chest and waist in inches and centimetres. Measurements are body measurements, not garment measurements; if you sit between two sizes, take the larger one.
How should I care for my pieces?
Piece-specific care notes are on each product page. As a rule: gentle handling, no harsh detergents, and keep things out of prolonged direct sun. Anything that needs more than that says so on its page.
Will an item come back in stock?
We work in small runs, so some pieces don’t return once they’re gone. If something you wanted has sold through, email us — if it’s coming back, we’ll tell you when.
Eyewear
Are the lenses really polarised?
Yes. Every George Andelli frame ships with polarised CR-39 lenses and 100% UVA/UVB protection as standard — no tiering, no lens upcharge. It's the single biggest difference between a $30 pair and ours.
What does “Italian-design acetate” mean?
Our frames are cut from layered cellulose acetate and finished in the acetate-craft tradition descending from the Cadore framing region of northeast Italy — hand-polished fronts, aged-gold five-barrel hinges, material depth you can see into. It describes the design lineage and the standard the frames are built to.
How do I know a frame will fit?
Every frame's product page lists the measured fit — lens, bridge and temple in millimetres — plus a one-line note on which faces the shape suits. Check the numbers printed inside the temple of a pair that already fits you; most men wear a 50–57 mm lens.
Are frames prescription-ready?
They're sun-only frames — we don't sell Rx lenses. Most of our acetate silhouettes can be refitted with prescription sun lenses by any good optician if you'd like to.
Can the fit be adjusted?
Yes — acetate temples can be warmed and adjusted by any optician in about two minutes, usually free. Wire frames (The Procida) adjust even more easily.
How should I care for frames?
Wipe with the included cloth, rinse salt spray with fresh water, and keep them in the case. Acetate's one enemy is sustained heat — don't leave them on a dashboard in July.
Shipping
How much is shipping, and how fast?
Shipping is a flat $3.99 and tracked on every U.S. order. Allow 5–10 business days door to door — 1–2 days processing, the rest in transit. You'll get a tracking link the moment it dispatches.
Do you ship outside the United States?
Not yet. We currently ship within the United States only.
How do I track my order?
Use the tracking link in your dispatch email, or the Track Order page. Tracking can take up to 24 hours to show its first scan.
Returns
What is your return policy?
Thirty days from delivery, in original condition with all original packaging. For change-of-mind returns you cover return postage; if anything is faulty or incorrect, we cover it. Full detail on the Returns & Refunds page.
Can I try something on and still return it?
Of course — trying a piece in the mirror is what the 30 days are for. Keep it unworn beyond that, with tags, cases and packaging intact, and the refund is full.
My order arrived damaged or wrong — what now?
Email support@georgeandelli.com within 14 days with a photo and your order number. We'll send a prepaid return label and a replacement or full refund — your choice.
