A medium-wide frame. The teardrop lens covers more of the cheek, the right call for stronger jaws and longer faces.

The acetate
A full acetate rim where most aviators run bare wire. Warmer against the face, quieter in a room, and far harder to bend out of shape.
The lenses
Polarised CR-39 teardrops with full UVA/UVB protection. The polariser kills the glare a pilot lens is usually all about collecting.
The bridge
A slim double bridge in aged gold. The one aviator detail worth keeping, refined down to a line.

Exactly the linen I wanted. Washed soft out of the box and the collar sits open without a tie. Wore it three days running in Charleston heat.
Heavier than I expected, in a good way. Proper acetate, not the thin stuff. The polarised lenses make a real difference on the water.
